Lost Witness at Ocean Club

Whether you know it or not, we’ve been listening to Si Paul’s music for well over 20 years. Having made his name as a credible producer following his collaboration with Geroge Michael’s Wham! on the seminal pop ballad, Careless Whisper, Paul went on to become of the key components in the rise of the European trance music scene which exploded in Ibiza in the late 1990s.

Founded as a production vehicle and DJ monikor by Paul in 1997, Lost Witness stormed through the clubland ranks, helped by the support of fellow trance hall of famers, Judge Jules and Pete Tong, as well as BBC Radio 1 and Ministry of Sound, with a string of classic releases, including Happiness Happening, Red Sun Rising, 7 Colours, and Tim Buckley cover, Did I Dream (Song to the Siren).

Still flying the flag for trance today, Paul’s thirst for euphoric climaxes and love of angelic female vocals has carried him through the ever-changing landscape of popular music, most recently commissioned to remix Beyonce’s worldwide smash hit, Single Ladies, in 2009.

As well as being headlined by Lost Witness, Ocean Club will also see a supporting set by one of Vietnam’s best DJs, Vinh Stanley, as well as a full audio and visual spectacle with a laser light show, full-on UV atmospherics and body-painted dancers.

The show kicks off at Ocean Club (7 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Q4, Ho Chi Minh City) at 9pm on Sep. 9 and tickets cost VND300,000 in advance, VND400,000 on the door and VND500,000 for VIP access.

Lost Witness is presented by Sugar Club Promotions
