I’ve been known to ‘wing it’ from time to time, but even this one had me scratching my head a bit. Do we make this a typical “who’s got the best wings?” write-up, or do we make it a little bit more competitive — and nationalistic? Nothing like national pride to get tongues wagging.

 

Thus, in the wake of July’s fast-paced World Cup, I present to you: The Word Cup! (of wings).

 

What was interesting while writing the article was actually the side-dishes: Vietnamese wings come served with watercress and tomato slices; American with celery sticks and ranch dressing; and South Korean with diced radish in vinegar and coleslaw. It makes you realise that there are countless ways to not only make the wings themselves, but to create the wing experience.
