December is a festive month with Christmas and New Year food

 

Corso Steakhouse

During the festive season, Corso Steakhouse & Bar is introducing a new five-course menu specially prepared by the restaurant’s executive chef Nguyen Quoc Dung. For starters, diners can choose pan-roasted foie gras with a bouquet of salad, red capsicum sauce and baked dark chocolate sabayon on pear, or king prawns and avocado salad tossed with American cocktail sauce. Main dishes range from traditional roasted turkey breast with chestnut stuffing, giblet gravy and creamy mashed potato, to Australian beef sirloin steak with ruby wine sauce and young turn vegetables on baked field mushrooms and gratin potato.

Shang Palace

Shang Palace introduces its signature dish of the month this December. Prepared by the hotel’s new Hong Kong roasting chef Cheng Yiu Kwong, he will prepare his BBQ Roasted Goose, while diners can also enjoy dishes such as Stewed Goat Rib in Casserole.

Renaissance Riverside

Guests are invited to sample the creations of the resident chef, Hong Kong’s Yeung Loi Ming, at the “All You Can Eat” Dim Sum lunch and “All You Can Eat” dinner at Kabin this month. For lunch, choose from among 70 varieties of dim sum every day from 12pm to 2.30pm for VND399,000++. Four dine for the price of three with a maximum of 8 persons per visit. For dinner, more than 50 items will be available for VND462,000 from 6pm to 10pm, daily.
Diners can also enjoy the Seafood Extravaganza at the Riverside Café. Feast on an array of seafood from fresh oysters to mussels and lobsters. Prices vary from VND629,000++/person to VND754,000++/person (including free-flow wine, beer and soft drinks).

Festive highlights at Novotel Phan Thiet include a Christmas Gala dinner on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 and a New Year’s Eve Gala dinner on Dec. 31.
