With an outdoor seating area with views over the lake, and an upstairs lounge and restaurant area, the Vasco’s concept has been adapted to make this more of an eating and drinking venue rather than the party-style, nightlife icon that Vasco’s has become in District 1.
With a contemporary Mediterranean-influenced menu including the likes of beef carpaccio, warm goat’s cheese salad, seabass wrapped in Serrano ham and salmon tagliatelli, mains start at VND170,000, rising to VND325,000 for the beef tenderloin. Also available is a selection of pizzas costing from VND130,000 for the pepperoni, olives, anchovy and roasted peppers ‘Vasco’s Pizza’.
On the drinks front the focus is well-and-truly cocktails, with a huge range of mixed drinks starting at VND95,000 each. Draft Tiger and San Miguel go for VND40,000 each while a partnership with Bacchus Corner, who have opened a wine shop and lounge in the area upstairs, ensures that there is an extensive wine list to choose from.
