Did you know that air pollution is one of the leading causes of death in the developing world? Well, we didn’t either — and were stunned to read that the WHO ascribes 2.4 million deaths a year to air pollution, attributing 1.5 million of this number to indoor air pollution. And, as we detail in In the Air on page 150 in the Hanoi section, air pollution in Vietnam is getting to be a very real problem.
