The former Miss Caribbean left even the most seasoned hacks blushing like young schoolboys as she paraded around Alto Heli Bar and Cirrus restaurant, bringing a little piece of heaven closer to the skyscraper.
The Dominican stunner was flown in to bring a touch of class to the newly-opened Martini Bar and Alto’s weekend Platinum Nights which take place every Friday until 2 am.
German-based Montero, who speaks seven languages, insists that she is first and foremost a businesswoman and hinted she might be undertaking a venture very soon in Vietnam or Asia.
“This is my first visit to Vietnam and it is a great experience coming here to a developing country. It won’t be my last. The Bitexco Tower is a stunning building and there is such a beautiful view of Saigon from here,” she says.
“Vietnam is growing and I have something on my mind. There is a possibility that Vietnam can be a part of my success, but I’ll keep quiet on that for now.”
Montero realised the value of money as a poor kid growing up in the Dominican Republic close to the border with Haiti. Even as she progressed as a model, she knew her looks wouldn’t last forever and decided to get into business.
She moved to Germany at just 16 and has made a name for herself on and off the catwalk. Montero Models is a rapidly-growing company in Cologne and enables her to travel the world looking for the best talent. She admits she has been impressed with the talent in Vietnam.
“I definitely hope to have some Vietnamese girls on my books in the future. There are some stunning girls here,” she adds
